Visiting the Club

The Newport Harbor Elks Yacht Club (NHEYC) is co-located with the Elks Lodge #1767 in
Newport Beach and is a private club that is not open to the public. Understandably, we are all
careful to guard our private club status. If coming by private vehicle, there is metered public
parking adjacent to the Lodge until 6:00PM. After 6:00PM, guests will need to find other
metered parking. Lodge operating hours can be found by visiting our Lodge website,
www.newportelks.com.

Visiting Yachtsmen on the Water
The NHEYC does not have a dedicated Guest Dock, but a Newport Harbor Public Dock is right
outside our Lodge and is available for smaller vessels such as electric boats and inflatables. No
reservations are required, there are no overnight stays allowed, and there are no electrical
hook-ups. The visiting yachtsman should respect the vessel size limitations and time limits
posted on the dock.

Visiting Yachtsmen at the Elks Lodge
When a member of a participating Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA) club wishes
to visit our Newport Harbor Lodge club facilities, they need to call ahead to our Commodore to
have a NHEYC member greet them at the door and sign them in as a guest. The NHEYC
member will remain in the club with the guest as is responsible for that guest. That request can
be sent to Michelle Bleeker, Commodore, 1-567-201-7080.
