The Nauti-Gals

The Nauti-Gals is the auxiliary of the Newport Harbor Elks Lodge #1767 Yacht Club.

The mission and purpose of the Nauti-Gals auxiliary is to support the goals and activities of the Yacht Club and Lodge.
Nauti-Gals support a variety of Yacht Club events throughout the year such as: Commodore’s Ball (February), Yacht Club Opening Day (March), Duck Races (July), Duffy Rally (August), Chili cook-off (October) and the Christmas Wreath Raffle (November). Additionally, Nauti-Gals can also volunteer as food servers when it is the Yacht Club’s day to host the Saturday BBQ.
Nauti-Gals are encouraged to attend the monthly Nauti-Gals general meetings and be willing to volunteer their time and creative talents to help organize, plan, decorate and/or attend Yacht Club and Nauti-Gals events. We also plan monthly social luncheons so that we can get together to enjoy each other’s company.
Being a member of the Nauti-Gals is a great way to promote the experience of making new friendships and living the life of ‘Elks Care – Elks Share’.
In addition, the Nauti-Gals auxiliary may plan their own fundraising events for Lodge members. We have organized Wine Tastings, QuarterMania, and a Luau to name a few of our recent fundraiser events. Each one of our Nauti-Gals hosted fundraisers raises money for a charity of our choosing and provides an evening or day of memorable fun for Elk members and their guests.
The Nauti-Gals auxiliary has an open invitation for Elk members, spouse members and associate members to join the auxiliary. We meet on the third Saturday of the month at 10am in the anteroom, before the Yacht Club meeting.
